AMD Radeon HD 7850 and GTFO: questions
Can the AMD Radeon HD 7850 run GTFO?
Yes, below the recommended spec: the AMD Radeon HD 7850 clears GTFO's minimum but not its recommended card. Expect about 23 FPS at 1080p on high; reaching 60 needs lower settings than low, or upscaling. Its 2 GB of video memory is under the 6 GB the recommended spec lists.
How many FPS does the AMD Radeon HD 7850 get in GTFO?
Modelled on high settings without upscaling: 23 FPS at 1080p, 14 at 1440p and 8 at 4K, with a processor that meets the game's recommendation.
Which card would run GTFO at the recommended spec?
The lowest launch price among recent cards that meet it belongs to the Intel Arc A580 ($179).
Does my processor change this?
The figures assume a processor at or above GTFO's recommendation. A slower one lowers the ceiling, most noticeably at 1080p.
